Perth Game Fishing Club (PGFC) was formed in 1949 by a group of some 20 individuals who enjoyed a common interest in game fishing. It has now grown to a membership over 220 adults and juniors.

Each year the club hosts two open tournaments, a number of club comps and social events at the Royal Perth Yacht Club Femantle Annex. Monthly meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month.
